Hermeneutics: The Science of Interpretation

Aaron Hixson

Tuesday, July 17, 2018

6:30-8:00pm

Irondequoit Campus

The Bible is a big book. Studying it can seem intimidating. Where do I start? How do I approach a book this diverse and large? The fact is, we all wear a set of glasses when it comes to interpreting the Bible - a lens through which we interpret. But most people don't THINK about that lens, they simply read and hope for the best. This class is designed to help you decide WHAT glasses to put on and HOW those glasses impact everything you read (not just the Bible).
