Each year there are approximately 5.3 million incidents of physical abuse toward women and over three million incidents towards men. Abuse cuts across all racial, ethnic, educational, and socioeconomic boundaries. Tonya Neal (MACE, 2015) ministers to those affected by physical abuse — the type of violence that is many times shrouded in secrecy. She hopes to take victims from a place of desolation to a place of restoration and point them to the hope found in Jesus Christ.
